Easter Morning

We were able to enjoy some family time and enjoy our Easter Quiche. Julie gave me the recipe a couple of years ago. Last year, I accidently added too much dry mustard (8 teaspoons instead of 1/8 of a teaspoon...YUCK!), but I didn't make that same mistake this year. The Easter bunny didn't hide any baskets in the oven either. A couple of years ago I preheated the oven and started melting Dominique's basket and candy. Luckily, we saw it before his Easter chocolate melted.

Both sets of grandparents sent the kids an Easter package. They were all very thrilled with the fun package, but Dreyton was especially excited about money in the Easter eggs. The toys kept them occupied all day. Dominique is holding a foam dart gun. The boys were chasing each other through the house and causing a lot of commotion.

Dreyton found a football in his basket, and Dominique found a squishy ball. The football glows in the dark and sometimes scares me when I go check on the boys at night. I swear it looks like Jack Nicholson in The Shining (HERE'S JOHNNY!!!)
Grandma Lott made the girls some matching pajamas. Jasmine wanted a shirt that said, "I love Troy." He is the heart throb from High School Musical. Jyllian received a pair of jammies, and her shirt says, "I love dad." Now if we can just keep her in clothing with that kind of wording throughout high school maybe the boys will leave her alone. Jyllian was thrilled to have matching pajamas with her sister.

Jyllian was taste testing each piece of candy and leaving the ones she didn't like on the couch. It was great finding sticky candy and chocolate melted on the couch. She was thouroughly enjoying the Dora bubbles and Jasmine really liked the water gun launcher.

We hope all of our family and friends throughout the country had a wonderful Easter as we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior.

I love the matching pjs and I really love that shirt Dominique is wearing that he made with his friends. That shirt is awesome. Of course you would eat quiche for breakfast. Don't you love eggs at your house? Why didn't you leave us any comments on your Easter Dinner? Ha ha

Okay I just looked at the picture big and realized that Dreyton also had an awesome shirt that he made too. Your kids are funny. Maybe that is where you could make some money--t shirts.
